Disappointingly, the planned filming of Wargrave Youth Theatre’s ‘A Night At The Musicals’, which has already been postponed twice due to the dreaded COVID, has now had to be cancelled. But, in the true tradition of ‘the show must go on’, WYT will now be performing the show ‘live’ in November. So all that rehearsal time has not been wasted.

In the meantime, WYT are now about to embark on their next production, ‘A [Thirty]  Fifty Minute As You Like It’, an open-air production as part of this year’s Wargrave Festival. This will be a lively production by the younger members of Wargrave Theatre Workshop with performances on Friday, 10th June at 5pm and Saturday, 11th June at 2pm and 4pm, and will have the benefit of covered tiered seating to protect the audience in the event of rain, or even too much sun! It will again be directed by Chez Annetts, who directed the highly successful 2019 production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, as Amy Ambrose has returned briefly (we hope) to acting having been cast as Titania in Reading Rep’s production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
